We have developed Internet based software, which Council or third party staff can control to manage accommodation details of any type and help organize every day tasks including the checking of safety certificates and when inspections etc are due, whilst distributing the information to potential tenants easily and quickly. This system improves the service considerably for the tenants, and simplifies the whole process for all concerned.
The service can be of great assistance promoting Council based accreditation schemes and hence safe properties and can act as an extra incentive for landlords to register with you, whether you provide a full accreditation scheme or simply a register of private properties within the area.
We are also part of a group, alongside Hull City Council, Hull University and Hull District Landlords Association, amongst others, working to provide a service for the new student accommodation accreditation scheme, known as "The Scheme". We are now preparing to take advantage of our 8 years experience of supplying software to the Public sector by expanding to provide a service to Councils across the UK. We expect to provide this service via a new website, www.localpad.co.uk.
